Michelle Grabner awarded Guggenheim Fellowship

Congratulations to Michelle Grabner and other 2021 Guggenheim Fellowship winners.
It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Michelle Grabner for receiving a 2021 Guggenheim Fellowship. Well deserved.

Michelle Grabner is the Crown Family Professor of Art at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She and Brad Killam  created and run both The Suburban and The Poor Farm, both in Wisconsin. She writes for ArtForum, X-tra, co-curated the 2014 Whitney Biennial, was the Artistic Director of FRONT International triennial in Cleveland in 2018 and in 2019 she was named a National Academy of Design’s Academician, a lifetime honor.
 
We have had the great pleasure and honor of knowing Michelle Grabner and working with her for over a decade. She has curated great shows for the gallery in 2019 and 2020, created wonderful paintings, sculptures and silverpoints for exhibitions in Zurich and Basel. Her works were exhibited at Art Genève, EXPO Chicago, Art Brussels and are in major museums collections in Europe and the United States of America.
